Making a cotton t-shirt can still require up to 2700 liters of water, so just think about how much water it takes to make sheets! In my personal opinion yes, bamboo sheets are worth they hype and the extra money.
I switched to bamboo sheets about a year ago and have never looked back.
Growing up I'd always slept on cotton, so during my beginning phases of adulthood I purchased organic cotton sheets.
However, when I switched I started sleeping better. I'm typically a hot sleeper and will sweat in my sleep, but with the bamboo sheets I noticed significantly less sweating in my sleep.
The natural bamboo sheets have a cooling light weight feel that really worked with my body temperature.
To me the bamboo soft sheets feel better than the cotton. Cotton now feels heavier and starchier when I sleep on them after having slept on bamboo.
I've tried bamboo sheets from both Cozy Earth and Nolah and have been impressed with each set of bamboo sheets.
I've also noticed that these sheets wash incredibly well. It's clear they are crafted to stand the test of time because after washing them regularly for over a year there haven't been any signs of pilling.
