5 Sexy Lingerie Brands Using Eco-friendly Materials & Ethical Practices

This lingerie industry is larger that you think and unfortunately there are accounts of child labor and prison labor in popular brands such as Victoria’s Secret.

In 2018, the lingerie market in the United States was valued at approximately 6.87 billion U.S. dollars and it was forecast to reach a value of 11.36 billion U.S. dollars by 2025.

Consider what the industry would look like if all that money went to purchasing ethical lingerie crafted with eco-friendly materials? What a difference that would make! I’ve created this lingerie guide to make this process a bit easier for conscious consumers.

Why is ethical & sustainable lingerie tricky to find?

This guide took quite a bit of research to make because ethical and sustainable lingerie that has that flirtatious look is tricky to find.

When consumers are going to invest in more expensive ethically made garments I believe they tend to go towards socially responsible clothing items that will be worn more frequently and are regularly styled and shown off in a variety of ways.

On top of that I think a lot of people are drawn to cheap lingerie due to the price.

However, the ethics behind those low prices are questionable. For example the popular lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret has been known to have child labor and prison labor within their supply chain.

Ethical and sustainable lingerie is out there you just have to do a little research.

I’ve compiled this list of resources to make sweatshop free lingerie shopping a bit easier.
